ABSTRACT The existence of homosexuals is now starting to develop in Serang. It can easily be found in various social networking media about their existence whether in terms of performing self-disclosure or even in seeking partner. The process of self-disclosure starts from introduction phase until the homosexual decides to build a relationship or to end the communication because of the absence of relationships compatibility with their same-sex partner. The purposes of this study are to investigate the process of how symbols and characters used by the homosexuals in expressing themselves, such as the language they use, and to find out the communication patterns used by the homosexuals in their self-disclosure.
